This Privacy Policy explains how MindDa collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use the MindDa mobile application and related services.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Account Information
When you sign in or use the service, we may collect:
- Email address
- Google account ID
- Display name and profile avatar URL
- Account binding information required for sign-in and sync
1.2 User-Generated Content
To provide the core product experience, we may store content that you create or submit, including:
- Chat conversations with the assistant
- Voice recordings or speech-to-text transcripts you choose to submit
- Tasks, goals, habits, reminders, and related metadata
- Mood records and check-ins
- Preferences, assistant persona settings, and profile data
- Notes, structured responses, and behavior events related to product usage
1.3 Profile Media
If you choose to update your profile or upload media, we may process:
- Images that you select from your device photo library
- Profile avatar metadata required to display your account profile
1.4 Notification Data
If you enable notifications, we may collect or process:
- Device push tokens such as FCM registration tokens
- Identifiers required to deliver notifications reliably
- Notification delivery metadata such as timestamps and status
1.5 Calendar and Scheduling Data
If you enable calendar-related features, we may process:
- Calendar permission status
- Calendar event titles, times, reminders, and sync metadata created by MindDa
- Identifiers required to update or remove MindDa-created calendar entries
1.6 Purchase and Subscription Data
If you start or restore a subscription, we may process:
- Google Play product IDs, order IDs, and purchase tokens
- Subscription status, renewal state, and verification results
- Records needed to provide paid features and prevent fraud or duplicate purchases
1.7 Technical and Usage Data
We may collect limited technical information such as:
- App version and device type
- Error logs, diagnostics, and crash information
- Basic usage events needed for product quality, personalization, and security
2. How We Use Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide AI-assisted task capture, planning, reminders, and execution support
- Transcribe voice input and generate assistant responses
- Authenticate users and sync data across devices
- Manage subscriptions, verify purchases, and unlock paid features
- Deliver push notifications and reminder messages
- Create or sync calendar items when users enable calendar support
- Personalize assistant responses, quick actions, and planning suggestions
- Improve reliability, security, and overall product quality
- Comply with legal obligations and prevent abuse
3. Sharing and Service Providers
We do not sell your personal information.
We may share limited information with trusted service providers that help operate the service, such as:
- Google services for sign-in authentication
- Google Play services for purchase verification and subscription status
- Firebase Cloud Messaging or equivalent providers for notification delivery
- Large language model or AI processing providers used to generate task understanding, planning, and assistant responses
- Cloud hosting, database, analytics, and infrastructure providers
These providers are used only to provide and support the service.
4. Permissions Used in the Android App
The Android app may request the following permissions when the related feature is used:
- Microphone / RECORD_AUDIO: used for voice capture and speech-based task input.
- Notifications / POST_NOTIFICATIONS: used to deliver reminders, task prompts, and subscription-related notices.
- Calendar / READ_CALENDAR and WRITE_CALENDAR: used only if you enable calendar sync or scheduling support.
- Photos or media library access: used only when you choose an image, such as a profile avatar, from your device.
MindDa does not require camera capture for the current public Android release. If this changes in a future version, this policy will be updated before release.
5. Data Retention and Deletion
We retain information only as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, or resolve operational issues.
Users can request deletion of cloud data through the in-app Clear All Cloud Data feature, and public instructions are available on the Account Deletion page.
6. Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect information, including encryption in transit and access restrictions for authorized personnel. No system can guarantee absolute security.
7. International Transfers
Because the service may operate across regions, information may be processed or stored outside the user's country or region. Where required, we take appropriate measures for cross-border processing.
8. Children's Privacy
MindDa is not directed to children under the age required by applicable law, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children without appropriate consent.
9. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to:
- Access your information
- Correct inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your information
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
- Disable push notifications in device settings
- Stop using optional permissions such as microphone, calendar, or photo access by changing device settings
10. Google Play Data Safety Summary
- Data is encrypted in transit.
- Users can request deletion of cloud data.
- The app may process account information, app activity, diagnostics, purchases, voice submissions, and user-generated task data needed for the service.
- We do not sell personal data.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If material changes are made, we may provide notice through the service or through another reasonable method.
